Ray King
Ray King helped lead Denfeld's 1933 football team to a 6-1 record,
outscoring opponents 182-53. Though five (of the 11) offensive team
made all-conference, Ray led the attack at halfback, scoring 53
of the team's 182 points.
He went on to become an All-American at the University
of Minnesota and was named by coach Walt Hunting to his “Dream
Team” in the mid-1950s.
