Denfeld defeats Grand Rapids

C. J. Ham rushed for two touchdowns and returned an interception 60 yards for another touchdown as Duluth Denfeld defeated Grand Rapids 35-21 in a North Country Conference high school football game Friday night at Public Schools Stadium.

Ham rushed 12 times for 82 yards and staked the Hunters (2-2 overall, 1-0 NCC) to a 15-0 lead with his interception runback in the second quarter.

The Thunderhawks (1-3, 1-2) rallied behind an Austin Pohlen touchdown pass and interception return before Ham sealed matters with his second-half TD runs.
