Miss Snodgrass dies in Iowa

Lenore K. Snodgrass, widely known Duluth school teacher and active in educational affairs, died unexpectedly yesterday while visiting a sister in Marshalltown, Iowa. She suffered a cerebral hemorrhage.

Miss Snodgrass had taught English at Denfeld High School since 1918 and prior to that at Loveland, Colo.

She had been active in the American Association of University Women, the Women’s Institute, and the Delta Kappa Gamma national education sorority for many years. She was a delegate this past summer to conventions of the AAUW and the education sorority. She was a member of First Methodist Church.

The English department at Denfeld set up an educational scholarship fund in honor of Miss Snodgrass when word of her death was received.

Funeral services will be held in Indianola, Iowa, where Miss Snodgrass was born. The time of the services is pending.
